Entries are open for the 2024 Logistics Achiever Awards

Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) is delighted to announce the return of the Logistics Achievers Awards.

GIBS is proud to be associated with this initiative that aims to redefine excellence and innovation in the logistics industry. The prestigious awards have been celebrated as the premier recognition in the logistics industry in South Africa for over 30 years.

Established by Dianne Holton, she grew the Logistics Achiever Awards together with Logistics News into highly respected and well-supported brands in our industry. Dianne’s son, Dalan Holton, is the current publisher of Logistics News and has passed the baton to GIBS to ensure that the legacy of the Logistics Achiever Awards will continue.

The applications for the 2024 Logistics Achiever Awards are now open. Submit your entry by May 10 and for any queries, please contact boxallb@gibs.co.za

The LAA represents not only an incredible legacy, with award certificates gracing the walls of the industry’s leaders and innovators, it is also the repository of many of the war stories that document South Africa’s eventful journey to success as a leader in logistics and supply chain management.

The objectives of the Logistics Achiever Awards are:

  1. To recognise excellence and professionalism in logistics and supply chain management practices in Southern Africa.
  2. Encourage innovation and to inspire organisations to evaluate and enhance their current logistics and supply chain management practices.
  3. And to create awareness and foster a greater understanding of the value of effective logistics and supply chain management.

Dianne Holton Legacy Award

Di built the Logistics Achiever Awards into a brand that recognised genuine, objectively measured supply chain achievement. She established the LAA because she was passionate about the industry and, by firing up industry leaders with that passion, she garnished incredible support from judges, sponsors and the industry at large.

This award honours the pioneering spirit of Di Holton by recognizing those who break new ground in their approach to supply chain challenges, creativity, and effective strategies that drive significant impact in the logistics field. This award recognises innovation in supply chain management specifically and awards the entrant with the highest score for innovation & leadership applied by the judging panel.
