59 Mr Price Group Associates recently graduated with learnership qualifications. These graduates join over 320 existing graduates for the FY2025 year. A special moment from the ceremony was when one of our graduates sang "Kuse khaya la noma ngabe izindlu ezodaka!" which loosely translates to "Mr Price is home no matter what." This heartfelt performance truly captured the spirit of the day which echoed the graduation theme: My Mr Price, My Future.
“It was a true privilege yesterday to celebrate, honour, and recognize the remarkable achievements of 59 graduates from Mr Price Logistics. These individuals successfully completed the W&RSETA NQF 2, 3, and 4 Programs, a testament to their dedication and hard work,” shared Werner Pelser, Group Logistics Director at MR Price Group
This graduation marks a particularly special milestone, as it represents the first intake with a focused effort to empower people with disabilities within our Distribution Centres. We are incredibly proud to support an inclusive work environment where all employees can thrive side-by-side. Furthermore, 10 of these accomplished graduates have already earned promotions into various leadership roles. This is a remarkable achievement and a clear demonstration of their potential.
